Alice Paul and the 20th Century Fight for Women’s Equality

August 26, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

In celebration of Women’s Equality Day and the centennial anniversary of the 19th Amendment, Heritage Frederick is honored to host a spellbinding viewing of a new living history film, “Alice Paul and the 20th Century Fight for Women’s Equality.” Researched, written, and acted by the Frederick-based mother-daughter creative team of Liz Cannon and Joanna Guy, the film showcases dynamic monologues to tell the story of Alice Paul’s wide-ranging contributions to the women’s suffrage and equal rights movements.  The film will be shown at 7:00 PM, followed at 7:45 PM by a virtual live Q&A with the presenters.
