Doug Propheter
Executive Director, Director@FrederickHistory.org
Doug has served 15 years as an executive officer, including 12 leading nonprofit organizations. He has a passion for discovering stories of Frederick County’s people, places, and things with a specialized knowledge of Thurmont history. Doug is on the board of the Thurmont Historical Society and the Seton Center.

Tonya Hatosy-Stier

Tonya has been working in development for more than 20 years. She loves learning more about Frederick County history and enjoys sharing the stories of its people, places and things. Tonya is a founding board member of the Key City Rotary Club.

Amy Hunt
Curator, Curator@FrederickHistory.org
Amy has a degree in Art History from the University of Maryland at College Park and 13 years of experience as a Curator and Museum Educator in Fine Arts Museums. She enjoys travel, reading, genealogy and visiting cemeteries.

Jody Brumage
Archivist, Archivist@FrederickHistory.org
Jody has worked with archival collections for the past 10 years and has a passion for studying Frederick County history. He received a BA in Public History from Shepherd University and a Masters of Archives and Records Administration from San José State University. Jody is a 10th generation Frederick Countian.
