The Museum of Frederick County History (operated by Heritage Frederick) is open each week, Thursday through Saturday, from 10am to 4pm. Tours by appointment can be arranged for Mondays-Wednesdays.

The museum closes each year after the second Saturday in December for transition of our exhibit spaces. We then reopen at the beginning of March. During January and February, the museum is closed and no tours are available.

Visitors may tour the museum at their own pace. Printed exhibit guides are available to explain what is on view in each gallery.
